SRC

At The Patch Primary School, we have two SRC groups — our Junior SRC (Prep–2) and our Senior SRC (Years 3–6). The SRC provides students with an authentic voice in shaping their school community. Representatives from each class meet weekly with a teacher to share ideas, promote kindness, and lead positive change.

Each representative takes ideas back to their class to gather feedback, which is then brought to the SRC to guide action. Our SRC has contributed to many worthwhile projects — from fundraising for charities and organising fun free dress days to leading improvements in classroom practice.

Through the SRC, students build leadership skills, practise teamwork, and take action that reflects our school values of Kindness, Courage and Connection.
